A large spool of wire fell off a truck yesterday morning on Route 40 just south of Pittsburgh. The spool then !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! downhill for some time, forcing oncoming traffic to swerve or stop to avoid being hit. It eventually came to a stop after bouncing off the gardrail, then the median divider, then the rail again, but luckily no one was struck.

I hope somebody cabled the company with damage estimate for anything it hit. Glad no cars got hit or it could have left them stranded.

That truck in the foreground of the video lost a tire, too. You can see it fall right off the trailer.
