A large spool of wire fell off a truck yesterday morning on Route 40 just south of Pittsburgh. The spool then

downhill for some time, forcing oncoming traffic to swerve or stop to avoid being hit. It eventually came to a stop after bouncing off the gardrail, then the median divider, then the rail again, but luckily no one was struck.

I hope somebody cabled the company with damage estimate for anything it hit. Glad no cars got hit or it could have left them stranded.

Secure you mother f’ing load. A motorcyclist was killed near me last year when a propane tank fell off a truck on the freeway.
